Source-class vocabulary

official_public_authority

Government, legislature, court, regulator, or other public-authority source identified from its official domain. This is a provenance class, not a claim that every page is controlling authority.

official_intergovernmental

First-party material from an intergovernmental institution. Relevance and legal force depend on the document and jurisdiction.

first_party_technical_or_policy

First-party documentation or policy from the organization or technical system being described.

scholarly_or_university

University, law-review, journal, or scholarly-publisher source. This class does not by itself establish peer review or correctness.

preprint_or_working_paper

Preprint or working-paper repository; useful research evidence but not automatically peer reviewed.

legal_secondary_repository

Secondary legal repository or case-law mirror; useful for access, but the official court/statutory source is preferable when available.

professional_news_or_commentary

Professional journalism or expert commentary; useful context, not primary legal/scientific authority.

community_user_generated

Community or user-generated discussion. It may surface arguments or experience but receives no authority presumption.

other_web_source

Other web source not safely classifiable from hostname alone; requires source-specific review before authority claims.
